I am Alexander. I like to make music and other stuff. This is my website where I post my creative output. It is intended to be an easily-searchable content hub where you will be able to find everything I make without having to search through my profiles on various websites.
How I make music
I use LMMS as my DAW and Audacity for recording and editing. I also use Guitarix for recording guitar. I record vocals with a Blue Snowball microphone.
How I make videos
I edit my videos with Kdenlive and process my voiceovers with Audacity. I use GPU Screen Recorder to record gameplay, and Lutris to run games (usually with Proton-GE). I make my thumbnails in GIMP.
How I made this website
I made this website with Hugo. It uses a modified version of the smigl-lite Hugo template by Joseph McCarthy, which is available under the MIT License. I find this template strikes a good balance between having enough features to make a good website and being simple enough to easily customise to one’s liking.
I used the source code from Joseph McCarthy’s personal website as a base. This source code is also available under the MIT License.
